A 3-part series examining the path of the mystic, through songs and stories from Bhakti and Sufi poets from India and elsewhere. Mystic poets such as Kabir, Bulleshah, Meera, point us to a reality beyond the ordinary one, but which can be experienced within the contours and dimensions of the human form. Through their songs, poetry and the examples of their lives, they force us to confront our inner nature and redefine our ideas of love, joy, freedom and death.
