Vipul narrates stories from the lives and worlds of Kabir, Bulleshah, Shah Latif, Meera and others, and sings songs from the Bhakti and Sufi traditions linked to these stories. Legends, folk tales, allegorical anecdotes all come alive along with passionate songs speaking of profound truths.
About the Artist:
Vipul Rikhi is a singer, poet, storyteller and translator, immersed in the oral traditions of Kabir and other Bhakti and Sufi poets. He is the author of several books of poetry, fiction and translation. He has a deep love for singing mystic poetry in the folk music traditions and performs widely.
